Il club del Norwich sta svolgendo una propria indagine interna dopo che due tifosi ( fans in foto ) hanno invaso il campo in occasione della clamorosa sconfitta per sette reti ad una contro il Colchester. Due soggetti sono già stati, comunque, individuati dalla polizia, interrogati e multati. Ashley Young, giocatore dell’ Aston Villa, dovrebbe sostituire l’ infortunato Steven Gerrard nell’ undici della nazionale inglese che si accinge ad affrontare l’ Olanda in una sfida amichevole delicata anche sotto il profilo dell’ ordine pubblico.

Two fans confronted coaching staff during the first half

“Norwich City are holding an independent inquiry after two fans ran onto the pitch during the Canaries’ 7-1 defeat by Colchester on Saturday.

“The two men, Mark Warman, 43, and Daniel Warman, 18, were questioned by police and cautioned.

They confronted Bryan Gunn and the rest of his management team in the technical area after Colchester had scored their fourth goal.

The club says it is considering what action to take against the two men.

The investigation is expected to be completed by the end of next week.”

Aston Villa’s Ashley Young will replace Steven Gerrard in England’s starting XI against the Netherlands after the midfielder pulled out with an injury.The 29-year-old Liverpool player was forced to withdraw from the squad after picking up a groin problem in training.

“It will be a good test for Ashley,” said England coach Fabio Capello ahead of Wednesday’s friendly in Amsterdam.”He has only played twice for me but the last time he did very well. It will be a good test for him.”Young will win his sixth cap, but only his second under Capello”
